R&D Contribution Entitlements Team develops and supports clients Global Data Contributions and Exchanges Systems. The team provides high-performance robust entitlement system that controls real-time client access to all Exchanges and 3rd Party contributed data (such as News, Research, Pricing, Derivatives etc.) across the Bloomberg platform and Data products. We develop infrastructures for various client applications to query whether a customer has access to content on clients Terminals, and BPipe, Data License, Server API, or Media on Enterprise products. You will help us build applications that help our clients stay ahead of the markets in a very dynamic environment.
We are in the process of migrating Exchanges warehouse to new platform. We are looking for professional with expert level knowledge for large data set warehouse. You will be involved in all phases of software development, warehouse design and implementation, coordination with team members and other engineering teams. You will be exposed to different data domains and have opportunities to work with team to design and implement all modules of new system. You will have enormous opportunities to learn, and will be expected to contribute ideas.
You'll need to have:
3+ years of related database experience developing complex SQL stored procedures/function, loading and processing large data sets and performing storage optimization and query tuning
3+ years of professional experience in C#
Solid understanding data warehousing methodologies and ETL process
We'd love to see:
Familiarity with other databases (eg, SQL Server)
Working knowledge of Linux
